Koh Waen in Trang province is most famous for its artificial reef dive site: a sunken train!

This unique attraction was intentionally submerged to create a new underwater habitat. While visibility can be limited and currents strong, the site is a haven for macro life. You can expect to encounter a variety of nudibranchs, sea slugs, shrimps, and crabs.

How to Go toTrang

Traveling to Trang Province There are many ways to do it. including cars, vans, buses, trains, and airplanes. If coming by van or tour bus You can choose to get off at a stop that is close to the desired port. If coming by train, you can get off at several large stations such as Trang Station and Kantang Station before connecting to the various ports. Currently there are flights from Bangkok. Fly directly to Trang Province. It takes approximately 1 hour 25 minutes and from Trang Airport. There will be vans, minibuses and taxis into the city. Choose to continue your journey.

  • Airplane: Get off at Trang Airport. There are many airlines providing service.
  • Car: Travel from Bangkok It takes about 8-9 hours. The distance is approximately 750 kilometers. The most convenient route is Take Highway 4 (Petchkasem Road) through Nakhon Pathom, Ratchaburi, Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Ranong, Phang Nga until Trang Province.
